HORN OF MY SALVATION

PSALMS 18:2

“The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God , my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

As I was studying this scripture earlier this morning, the Holy spirit made me think on how God is the ‘horn of our salvation’.

Looking   at   the  dictionary   definition of ‘horn’.  Merriam – Webster Dictionary defines  ‘horn’ as “one of the hard pointed parts that grows on the head of some animals, usually a bony processes that arise from the head of many ungulates and that are found in some extinct mammals and reptiles as one of the permanent paired hollow sheaths of keratin usually present in both sexes of the cattle and their relative that function chiefly for defence .

Our emphasis lies on the ‘defence’. If the horns in animals is used for defence, therefore God is telling us that He is the defence of our salvation against the wiles and fiery darts of the enemy. We have been salvaged from the enemy and God is telling us that He is our defence for any major or minor comeback of the enemy. As far as God is our defence, affliction shall not arise a second time. What a God we have!

The Free Bible Dictionary tells us that “ ‘Horns’ are emblems of power, dominion, glory, and fierceness, as they are the chief means of attack and defence with the animals endowed with them.”
Note: ‘Attack and Defence’. So, God who is the ‘horn of our salvation’ can also attack anything and anyone that tampers with our salvation.

It goes further to tell us that the expression ‘horn of salvation’ , applied to Christ, means “a salvation of strength, or a strong saviour”(Luke 1:69). Christ came to salvage us from the devil. He is that strength of our salvation ; a strong saviour. Hallelujah!

In essence, let us as Born-Again Children of God pray everyday for God  to make our salvation be strong; full of counter - attack and defence to escape all satanic traps and pitfall. For the devil is not happy that you have been salvaged from him (Jude 1:3).

May GOD give us the strength to work out our salvation with strength and with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12).

Therefore, one QUESTION I will like to ask you is, ARE YOU SAVED? (Romans 3:23, 6:23, 10:9; Luke 13:3; Acts 3:19; 1 John 1:9; Isaiah 55:7; John 3:16.)  If not pray this prayer with me:
MY FATHER, I COME TO YOU TODAY. I AM SORRY FOR ALL MY WRONG DOINGS. I BELIEVE IN MY HEART THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD. I BELIEVE IN MY HEART THAT HE DIED FOR MY SINS, I BELIEVE THAT YOU RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD FOR MY JUSTIFICATION AND GLORIFICATION. LORD JESUS, COME INTO MY HEART RIGHT NOW. I RECEIVE YOU TODAY AS MY PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOUR. THANK YOU LORD. AMEN!

If you sincerely prayed this prayer, then you are now Born-Again. Congratulations!(Please look for any Bible-Believing church where God's word is being preached or Email: decrystalife@gmail.com).

Be Blessed!

WHAT DOES SACRIFICE MEAN IN A RELATIONSHIP?

Every relationship requires some sacrifices. Even, a garden full of flowers requires sacrifice to tend it. It takes sacrifice for a farmer to reap good harvest. What does it mean to be sacrificial? Being sacrificial is being selfless and loving, all out for someone and even inconveniencing yourself. So, in your relationship, you say am not the "this type of person, I am not the that type of yen yen" and you know it can make that relationship blossom, why not make sacrifices and do it. it is called sacrificial love Maybe the sacrifice you have to make is understanding and patience, taking in the other person's mental health into consideration. Nobody was born a type of person.  School, parents, environment, experiences, church, etc ; shaped us into being some type of person. But, self centeredness and selfishness hinders us from making sacrifices. Even our Lord Jesus that died and resurrected was not the "dying type of person" to die for us, but He made that sacr

THE BEFORE

Anxiety isn't good when you are trying to conceive; first hand experience. And my anxiety wasn't just from me being disturbed about conceiving but from other factors too. Example: questions being asked, flippant comments and direct confrontations, unsolicited advice. You might say, only two years and you were worrying yourself to death. Ha! It's was like twenty two years to me. In the span of two years,a lot happened ...it was well. I was completely worked up. Those that know me in person can testify that I was a slim person but became extremely slim. I became a shadow of myself. I was eating but was not healthy. I was seriously anxious and worried. So much was said to me. Pastor Victor and his wife, Pastor Mary,  Aunty Nseabasi Etim , My mum and lots of others were a great source of strength; God bless them for me. I was doing alot of things like taking of Communion daily, anointing my stomach daily and reading the word concerning the situation. One thing was

HOW TO KEEP DESTROYING YOURSELF WITH WORRY AND ALSO OVERCOME.

📍We all worry way too much about so many things.  We worry about what everyone else thinks. ▪Are they going to judge me for writing? ▪Are they going to think I am weird for doing this? ▪Is this picture worth sharing? ▪Is my dress beautiful?  ▪Do I look fine?  We just worry.  But when you think about it.  Does it matter what everyone thinks? You can only look at their opinions and suggestions, pick what you want, and leave the rest. •What does your God think about you?  He has beautiful thoughts for us. •What do you think about yourself?  Your friends and family all love you (some do) and the people who get your message will appreciate you.  Stop overthinking and worrying about everything. 🔹I used to be this way (working on this). Until I began to make conscious efforts to stop worrying about everything.  •It is exhausting  •It takes a toll on your health.  •Worry causes high blood pressure. •Worrying can make you tired •Worrying can kill you. •Worrying can cause ulcers. •Negative t
