WORD FOR TODAY-HE WILL SUPPLY...

PHILIPIANS 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Every Christian loves this scripture and I love it too but we fail to look at what we need to do to bring about the supplying. God's promises is ever sure, He never fails; though it may tarry it will surely come to pass.

Let's look at Philippians 4:1-19 verse by verse and see what we need to do to bring about our God given supply

Verse 1= Stand fast in the Lord. Hold unto His word.

Verse 2= Be of the same mind. Don't keep malice, have hatred and envy towards one another.

Verse 3= Offer help and assistance to your fellow brethren.

Verse 4= Rejoice always. Don't let sadness and depression take hold of you. Remember "with joy shall you draw waters out of the wells of salvation". Be joyful at all times no matter the circumtances surrounding you.

Verse 5= Let your stand be know to all men. Others may, I will not. Get involved in soul winning. Jesus is coming soon.

Verse 6= Let your prayers be presented with thanksgiving (psalms 100:4). Don't be anxious for anything.(1 Peter 5:7).

Verse 7= With your request being made, your heart will be at peace because you know He has heard and He will do it.

Verse 8= Don't give room to anything that will kill your joy. But keep your mind on the wonderful promises of God.

Verse 9= Practice the word of God. Be not hearers only but doers.

Verse 10= Don't let opportunity to render care pass you by.

Verse 11= Be contented with what you have at hand.

Verse 12= Be stable in all you do. Don't be what you are not and be straight in all your dealings.

Verse 13= "i can do all things through Christ which strenghtneth me." With the strength of God you can do anything.

Verse 14= Care for the affairs of people in need.

Verse 15= Be a giver and show others how to give. both in offerings to God and to people.

Verse 16= Keep on giving and give sacrificially.

Verse 17= for in giving, you are storing up treasures for yourself.

Verse 18= Keep on doing the good works.

Now, before verse 19 to be fulfilled in your life, you must practice the act of prayer and supplication, act of rendering thanksgiving to God, removing every doubt and rejecting sadness and depression and practice the act of giving to God and to man. And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. Amen.

THE YEAR HAS BEGAN.

The year 2018 was a blessed year for me. The year a significant change took place in my life;  I became a mother to a glorious baby. This change didn't seem possible but just like the song writer said "my hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ, my righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly lean on Jesus' name. ..." . Well, here we are in a new year; 2019. Maybe you where told by the doctor you wouldn't make it to this year, but here you are. Circumstances challenged you to give up, but here you are. After experiencing 10 hours plus of labour, it didn't seem like my baby and I would make it but God made a way and we had victory. (story for another day) Our God is faithful! Encourage yourself in the Lord this year. Committ all you instead doing to Him. Have hope but work towards achieving your hope. Develop that idea you have. Improve yourself. WHAT SECRET SIN ARE YOU STRUGGLING WITH

' Secret sin', a dilemma of many born-again Christians. It is secret in the eyes of men but God sees it all. One minute you are on fire for God and before you know it, you are back to ground zero. Just like 'a dog going back to its vomit' (read my post on this).
