LUKE 18:1-8
And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
Things don't just go away, you make them go.
Things don't just happen, you make them happen.
The widow in our scriptures today showed persistence in her asking in
verses 3-5. She kept coming and asking. She fixed her focus on her purpose and kept pressing.
Are you pressing enough?
Are you praying enough?
Ask yourself, what am i not doing for my answers to come forth.
Many of us relax after one breakthrough. We give up after trying for so long or have you tried changing the method you are using.
Worst of all, we only pray when we are faced with challenges and when it is done, over and solved; we stop praying. This ought not to be so!
Jesus speaking said "that men ought always to pray, and not to faint".
Leonardo Da Vinci said "it has long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things."
Don't sit around and wait; go out and take your possession just like the widow.
Yes! you are praying. Yes! you are fasting. Equally take a step and move towards what you want. God has heard your cry day and night; though He bears long with you, He will answer speedily (Luke 18:7-8).
With a continuous pressing and persistence on that purpose and with all amount of focus; you will get your desire.
GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN YOU!
