RAVEN TURNED HER LEMON TO LEMONADE - TESTIMONY

Raven Simone Mcfadden, was born prematurely at 3 months, diagnosed with cerebral palsy. She was raised by a single parent with her medical condition.

This brave woman today turned her lemon into lemonade. Today Raven, is a college graduate with a major in Communications and a double minor in Sociology & Psychology from Fontbonne University.

Her cousin Bree, praised her for her bravery on social media. See picture and message below. ..

"My niece Raven Simone McFadden graduated college today with a major in Communications and a double minor in Sociology & Psychology from Fontbonne University!! I wish I could tell y'all how strong she is for making it this far...3 months premature & diagnosed with cerebral palsy, single parent home.

She had countless medical surgeries, therapy sessions, she lost grants from the government, had trouble with housing and assistance care but she stayed on it! I remember changing her diapers and giving her breathing treatments. She never lost her focus though and she graduated in 4 years! I am sooo proud of this young QUEEN!! I LOVE YOU RAVEN!!"- Bree

WHAT DOES SACRIFICE MEAN IN A RELATIONSHIP?

Every relationship requires some sacrifices. Even, a garden full of flowers requires sacrifice to tend it. It takes sacrifice for a farmer to reap good harvest. What does it mean to be sacrificial? Being sacrificial is being selfless and loving, all out for someone and even inconveniencing yourself. So, in your relationship, you say am not the "this type of person, I am not the that type of yen yen" and you know it can make that relationship blossom, why not make sacrifices and do it. it is called sacrificial love Maybe the sacrifice you have to make is understanding and patience, taking in the other person's mental health into consideration. Nobody was born a type of person. School, parents, environment, experiences, church, etc ; shaped us into being some type of person. THE YEAR HAS BEGAN.

The year 2018 was a blessed year for me. The year a significant change took place in my life; I became a mother to a glorious baby. This change didn't seem possible but just like the song writer said "my hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ, my righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly lean on Jesus' name. ..." . Well, here we are in a new year; 2019. Maybe you where told by the doctor you wouldn't make it to this year, but here you are. Circumstances challenged you to give up, but here you are. After experiencing 10 hours plus of labour, it didn't seem like my baby and I would make it but God made a way and we had victory. (story for another day) Our God is faithful! Encourage yourself in the Lord this year. Committ all you instead doing to Him. Have hope but work towards achieving your hope. Develop that idea you have. Improve yourself. Above all, make prayer and studying of the word of God a life styl...

THE BEFORE

Anxiety isn't good when you are trying to conceive; first hand experience. And my anxiety wasn't just from me being disturbed about conceiving but from other factors too. Example: questions being asked, flippant comments and direct confrontations, unsolicited advice. You might say, only two years and you were worrying yourself to death. Ha! It's was like twenty two years to me. In the span of two years,a lot happened ...it was well. I was completely worked up. Those that know me in person can testify that I was a slim person but became extremely slim. I became a shadow of myself. I was eating but was not healthy. I was seriously anxious and worried. So much was said to me. Pastor Victor and his wife, Pastor Mary, Aunty Nseabasi Etim , My mum and lots of others were a great source of strength; God bless them for me. I was doing alot of things like taking of Communion daily, anointing my stomach daily and reading the word concerning the situation. One thing was...
