📍We all worry way too much about so many things.
We worry about what everyone else thinks.
▪Are they going to judge me for writing?
▪Are they going to think I am weird for doing this?
▪Is this picture worth sharing?
▪Is my dress beautiful?
▪Do I look fine?
We just worry.
But when you think about it.
Does it matter what everyone thinks?
You can only look at their opinions and suggestions, pick what you want, and leave the rest.
•What does your God think about you?
He has beautiful thoughts for us.
•What do you think about yourself?
Your friends and family all love you (some do) and the people who get your message will appreciate you.
Stop overthinking and worrying about everything.
🔹I used to be this way (working on this).
Until I began to make conscious efforts to stop worrying about everything.
•It is exhausting
•It takes a toll on your health.
•Worry causes high blood pressure.
•Worrying can make you tired
•Worrying can kill you.
•Worrying can cause ulcers.
•Negative thoughts start invading your mind.
•Headache sets in.
•Worry can cause weight loss. You eat but there is no evidence of it on your body.
Most times, you overeat because of worry.
•Questions start arising; are you sick, is all well, etc?
🔹Worrying is bad.
You are destroying yourself with worry.
Do not let other people on the internet control your life and what you do.
•Be you.
Jesus asked in Matthew 6:27 "Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?"
No!
So, why worry; if you know it won't change anything?
(Speaking to myself too)
Jesus, while in the ship with His disciples in Matthew 8:23-27, the storm raged so much that the disciples feared for their lives.
But Jesus Christ was sleeping.
He was in a complete state of rest.
No one can convince me He did not know there was a storm raging.
Instead, He slept through it; He was at peace in the midst of it.
Wow!
I ask again, why worry?💁
Instead, pour out your heart to God in prayer.
Prayer for me is therapy.
In that state, I am completely vulnerable to my Father.
Tell Him all your worries and patiently wait with faith.
Butcher🔪 the fear and worry, then dump it.
He listens.
